FREE St. Patrick's Day Printable!

I love St. Patrick's Day.  Maybe it's because I'm part Irish?  Maybe it's because my absolute FAVORITE color is GREEN?  Whatever the reason, I love the holiday and have taken to decorating my home in beautiful shades of green. 
I found this beautiful Irish blessing online the other day and it inspired me to create this printable for your St. Patrick's Day decorating!  Just print it out, pop it in a frame and voila! instant St. Patrick's Day cheer :)

To print, just right click on the picture and go to "copy." Open your favorite program like Word or Photoshop and right click again and go to "paste" (or just right click and "Save As").   Size it to any size you want and print!

In addition to photography and drawing I dabble in jewlery design as well (you know, in my "free time" ha!)  And since I'll never wear all of this jewelry (not even if I lived two lifetimes!) I set up

How to install the "Pin It" button {tutorial}

This is SO true.  I LOVE Pinterest.  I mean where else can you go to find 10 million decorating, fashion, cooking, crafting, and travaeling ideas all right there at your fingertips?!?  Pinterest, that's where! 

I'm sure most of you veteran pinners already know about this but I recently discovered how to install a "Pin It" button on my favorites bar.  Now I can pin till my heart's content!

Here's the 411:

To install the “Pin It” button in Internet Explorer:

1. Display your Favorites Bar by clicking Tools > Toolbars > Favorites Bar
2. Right-click the “Pin It” button (located here) and select “Add to Favorites”
3. On the pop-up window, select “Create in: Favorites Bar”
4. When you are browsing the web, push the “Pin It” button to pin an image

Once installed in your browser, the “Pin It” button lets you grab an image from any website and add it to one of your pinboards.  When you pin from a website, Pinterest automatically grabs the source link so they can credit the original creator.

How awesome is that???  This is genious.

Red rock beauty

My husband, son and I went to a local national park to snap some photos with my new camera over the weekend.  The weather was gorgeous PLUS I got to experiment with my camera some more. . . bonus!

I don't know why, I just love barns. There are a few around here and I can't get enough.  There's something so simple and rustic about them.
